[5] Best Computer RAM For Warzone 2

Warzone 2 is a very demanding game, so it’s important to ensure every component in your PC is up for the job.

RAM is one of the most important components in a gaming PC, especially for Warzone 2, which is why I put together this definitive list.

1. Kingston Fury Beast 5600MHz DDR5

BrandKingston Technology
Memory TypeDDR5
Memory Size32 GB
Memory Speed5600 MHz
Dimensions‎5.25” x 0.26” x 1.37”

Pros

  • Will blow Warzone 2 out of the water
  • Warzone 2 is RAM heavy so this RAM is great for it
  • Runs cool
  • Performs extremely well
  • New DDR5 is exciting

Cons

  • Not much overclocking headroom
  • No color options / RGB option
  • DDR5 is not as stable as DDR4
  • Not every PC can handle 5600 MHz and DDR5 RAM

If you’re looking for the absolute best-of-the-best, going to be super-RAM for the next 10 years, hit 300+ FPS easily in Warzone 2 RAM, then this is what you want.

It is very expensive, and you’re going to need to make sure your CPU and Motherboard can handle it, but if they can and you don’t mind spending the cash, the Kingston Fury Beast 5600MHz DDR5 RAM is going to blow Warzone 2 out of the water.

Can you get by with less? Of course – way less. But DDR5 is the future and 5600 MHz is insanely fast, so this RAM tops the list.

2. Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO SL 32GB DDR4

BrandCorsair
Memory TypeDDR4
Memory Size32 GB
Memory Speed4000 MHz
Dimensions‎5.44” x 0.3” x 1.76”

Pros

  • Fantastic performance, 4k MHz is more than enough for Warzone 2
  • Pricing is decent
  • DDR4 is more stable than DDR5 at the moment
  • Good size
  • 32 GB is perfect for Warzone 2 and enough to run any modern game (and will be for the foreseeable future)

Cons

  • RGB may be a little much for some (and affects pricing)
  • Still expensive even if it is a good value
  • Not all computers can handle 4,000 MHz speeds

This RAM is a bit cheaper than the Kingston above, but it is not much less powerful. It’s still insanely fast, coming in at 4k MHz.

Again, you’ll want to make sure your CPU and Motherboard support 4k speeds. If they do though, then this RAM is perfect for Warzone 2.

DDR5 can be hit or miss and many gamers have a lot of trouble actually getting DDR5 to work. That’s why this DDR4 comes in at #2.

It’s proven to work, it’s fast, and 32 GB is double the amount of RAM you really need to run Warzone 2 on max settings (as long as your GPU and CPU can handle the job as well.)

3. TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan DDR5

BrandTEAMGROUP
Memory TypeDDR5
Memory Size32 GB
Memory Speed5600 MHz
Dimensions‎5.51” x 0.3” x 1.29”

Pros

  • 5600 MHz and 32 GB is extremely fast, more than enough for Warzone 2
  • State-of-the-art will not have to be upgraded for 5 – 10 years at least
  • Looks nice with decent aesthetic options
  • The size is right

Cons

  • A bit overkill for Warzone 2 and most current games
  • DDR5 and 5600 MHz will not work on every PC out of the box
  • Expensive

This RAM is technically faster than the Corsair vengeance above, however I put the Corsair RAM higher because it is overall more reliable and a better value for the price.

Don’t get me wrong, this RAM is very nice. 32 GB and 5600 MHz is insanely fast and will be powerful enough for gaming for the next 10 years, easily.

32 GB is 16 GB more than you technically need for Warzone 2, however there’s not really such thing as too much RAM.

Warzone 2 is also notoriously poorly optimized which means the extra RAM will be put to work. It’s better to be safe than sorry, afterall.

4. Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL DDR4 3600

BrandCorsair
Memory TypeDDR4
Memory Size32 GB
Memory Speed3600 MHz
Dimensions5.44” x 0.3” x 1.76”

Pros

  • Very powerful RAM without being too overkill for Warzone 2
  • Looks very nice
  • Corsair is reputable and builds quality RAM
  • Most mobos and CPUs are DDR4 compatible nowadays
  • 3600 MHz is fast without being too fast

Cons

  • 3600 MHz is still not universally supported
  • The RGB almost certainly inflates the price
  • There are cheaper ways to get 32 GB RAM
  • 16 GB is enough for Warzone 2

3600 MHz, DDR4, 32 GB is pretty much the perfect RAM for a high-end gaming PC focused on playing Warzone 2.

If you want to be fancy you can opt for DDR5, but I still prefer DDR4 as of right now because it has a lot less problems. 32 GB is more than enough RAM for Warzone 2, and 3600 MHz is insanely fast.

Warzone 2 can honestly run pretty well with 3200 MHz and 16 GB, so this RAM gives you just a little bit of wiggle room in the performance department.

Keep in mind, you should double check your CPU and motherboard to make sure they can both handle 3600 MHz.

5. Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200

BrandCorsair
Memory Type16 GB
Memory SizeDDR4
Memory Speed3200 MHz
Dimensions‎6.1” x 3.54” x 0.39”

Pros

  • 16 GB is the recommended amount of RAM for Warzone 2 – so it is perfect without being overkill
  • 3200 MHz is fast and almost universally supported
  • Extremely affordable
  • 32 GB is also available if desired
  • Corsair is a great brand

Cons

  • 3200 MHz and 16GB is not state of the art, so will need to be upgraded sooner than 32GB and faster speeds
  • Warzone 2 is a more demanding game so higher-capacity and faster RAM is better

This RAM may seem very weak compared to the other options on the list, but it’s still quite powerful. 16 GB is the minimum amount of RAM that I’d personally use for Warzone 2, and 3200 MHz is standard.

So, if you pair this RAM with a solid CPU and GPU for Warzone 2, you’ll be able to hit those high FPS benchmarks, no problem.

The main advantage of choosing this RAM over the options further up is that this RAM is much more affordable. If you’re price-conscious, then the RAM is perfect for Warzone 2 and all other modern games.

How Much RAM Is Required For Warzone 2?

Warzone 2 requires 8 GB of RAM to run. However, 16 GB or more RAM is recommended for playing Warzone 2 because the game is very demanding. 16 GB will allow you to play Warzone 2 on high (144+) frame rates as long as your GPU and CPU are both powerful enough to match the RAM and run the game well.

If you play Warzone 2 on 8 GB there’s a good chance you’ll experience stuttering issues, despite it being the recommended amount of RAM.

You may be able to play with your settings a bit to get 60 FPS, but 8 GB is going to bottleneck your build quite a bit.

This is very true for Warzone 2 due to optimization issues, but it’s also true for most other modern games, including Overwatch 2, Apex Legends, etc.

Therefore, I highly recommend springing for 16 GB of RAM. If not for today, then for a couple years from now when 8 GB absolutely won’t cut it anymore.

Is More RAM Better For Warzone 2?

More RAM is better for Warzone 2 because Warzone 2 is a very demanding game and will use every GB of RAM it is given. 8 GB is the minimum RAM required for Warzone 2, but the game will not perform very well unless 16 GB or more of RAM is used. Increasing your RAM may immediately make Warzone 2 run better.

More RAM is almost always better for gaming, but some games don’t take advantage of RAM as much as others.

Warzone 2 is one of those games that will always eat up your RAM and use it, so more RAM will always improve performance.

Jumping from 8 GB to 16 GB will make a huge difference. Jumping from 16 to 32 will improve performance a little as well, but after that you may not notice much of an improvement.

I recommend 16 GB, but 32 GB will ensure you have enough RAM for the future as well.
