Best Offline Screens For Twitch (FREE & Premium!)

When you are not streaming, it’s important to have an offline screen because it looks professional and allows your viewers to know where else they can find your content. But where can you get the best offline screen for your Twitch channel?

Best Offline Screens For Twitch

  1. Fiverr
  2. OWN3D.TV
  3. Placeit by Envato
  4. Visuals By Impulse
  5. Streamlabs Ultra
  6. Hexeum
  7. Kudos.TV
  8. Nerd or Die
  9. StreamShark
  10. Twitch Overlay
  11. Canva
  12. Etsy

The list above is based off the following categories which I find most useful when looking for offline screens for Twitch:

  • Quality – Quality of the offline screens offered.
  • Price – How fair are the prices.
  • Selection – How many offline screens does the website offer.

Many of these services don’t just specialize in offline screens. Check out this article to see how to compare for overlays and graphics in general.

Keep reading to find out how each of these websites scored in the categories I mentioned and why they received the rankings that they did.

1. Fiverr

Fiverr Offline Screens
CategoryScore

Overall30/30
  • Large selection of offline screens
  • Resources besides just offline screens like logos, emotes, etc.
  • Artists are able to create designs tailored to your brand / theme

When it comes to offline screens, Fiverr is the best place to go. They have the overall best quality and because there are so many different artists to choose from, it’s easy to find a good price (usually starting at $5 and going up from there).

Unlike overlays, where you have to worry about things like compatibility and setup, with offline screens you only have to worry about your screen looking nice.

This is because your offline screen is just an image that you upload to Twitch. And given that Fiverr has so many talented artists, at varying prices, they are easily my #1 choice for offline screens.

2. OWN3D.TV

Selection10
Overall28/30
  • Large selection of offline screens
  • Tons of resources besides just offline screens (emotes, sub badges, etc.)
  • Free offline screens available for those who sign-up for the OWN3D Pro

Coming in at #2 on this list is OWN3D.TV. OWN3D has around 200 offline screens to choose from and they are all great.

The reason I have OWN3D at #2, and not #1 like I do on most of my other overlays lists, is because you don’t get the same customization options as you do with someone like Fiverr.

When you are looking for things like alerts, transitions, etc., having overlays that are custom-made are not as crucial. This is because you will be live when these things are taking place and so most of the focus will be on you and not your overlays.

But with an offline screen, you want something that promotes your brand and encourages people to follow you on other platforms. And since you can work with a professional to get a custom-made offline screen on Fiverr, I placed them at #1 over OWN3D.

With that being said, OWN3D still has some very clean, professional looking overlays that you can make small customizations to and add things like your social media accounts to.

Their prices are good too, typically ranging between $5 and $30 depending on if you want a single offline screen or an entire stream package.

If you want something affordable, and don’t want anything that is super customized, then OWN3D is a great option.

3. Placeit by Envato

  • Large selection of offline screens
  • Resources besides just offline screens like emotes, sub badges, logo designs, etc.
  • Lots of free templates
  • Allows for more customization of your offline screens

At #3 we have Placeit by Envato. Envato is different from others on this list in that what they offer are offline screen templates. Streamers can then use these templates to create their own offline screens.

In many ways Envato Placeit is a mix between the custom-made overlays on Fiverr, and the pre-made overlays on OWN3D.

Envato has a great selection of overlay templates to choose from, and their prices are great (typically around $3). I just feel like their quality is not as good as others on this list. But if you want a clean looking offline screen, that you can customize on your own. then Envato is a good choice.

4. Visuals By Impulse

  • Resources besides just offline screens like emotes, Stream Deck icons, etc.
  • Amazing quality
  • Free options available

Visuals By Impulse, or VBI, is another stream designer similar to OWN3D.TV. They have really high quality offline screens and most of their offline screens come in stream packages that also feature things like starting soon screens, transitions, and more.

Their quality is just as good as anyone else on this list, but their selection is smaller than the top 3 stream designers on this list. If you can’t find an offline screen you like on another website, then you should definitely check out VBI.

Their offline screens start at $5, and their stream packages go for between $30 and $50 for an animated stream overlay.

5. Streamlabs Ultra

Overall26/30
  • Large selection of offline screens
  • Resources besides just offline screens
  • Offline screens are free with Streamlabs Ultra

When it comes to offline screen selection there is nobody with more pre-made options than Streamlabs Ultra.

They have hundreds of offline screens to choose from and allow you to swap your offline screen with other screens in their library as often as you want.

The only drawback to Streamlabs Ultra is that you can’t buy individual offline screens. It’s all or nothing. This is because their free overlays and offline screens are part of the Streamlabs Ultra bundle.

Streamlabs Ultra costs about $20 a month, or $149 if you pay annually. Beyond offline screens it comes with the ability to mulit-stream, free apps in their store, and much more.

I personally use Streamlabs Ultra and I think it is well worth it. If you plan on changing offline screens often then it is definitely worth it. But if you just want one really high-quality offline screen, then there are more affordable options on this list.

6. Hexeum

CategoryScore

Selection10
Overall26/30
  • Resources besides just offline screens
  • Free options

Hexeum has a good size selection of quality offline screens that allow you to add things like your social media accounts to them.

Besides offline screens, Hexeum also offers stream overlay packages that include things like starting soon screens, ending soon screens, and transitions that will match the theme of the offline screen.

The offline screens alone cost $8, and their stream packages range from $15 to $30. They also have some really good free options for those trying to save money.

Hexeum has a good selection of offline screens, but websites like OWN3D.TV and Visuals By Impulse offer slightly better quality offline screens for similar prices and that’s why I ranked them higher.

7. Kudos.TV

CategoryScore
Quality9
Price9
Selection8
Overall26/30
  • Smaller selection of offline screens
  • Some resources besides offline screens
  • Affordable prices

Kudos.TV is a stream designer that does not get mentioned enough. They have some really cool looking offline screens and offer them at really competitive prices.

Kudos stream packages, which contain their offline screens, range from $3.50 to $14, which is an amazing deal for a professionally made stream package.

The two things that keep Kudos this far down on this list are it’s overall selection, and the fact that you can only purchase their offline screens through a stream package.

Buying an offline screen through a stream package is what most people do since it makes the whole theme flow together, but if you just wanted an offline screen you will have to look elsewhere.

All things considered though, Kudos still creates incredible offline screens and I would recommend checking them out if you are looking for an offline screen.

8. Nerd or Die

CategoryScore
Quality9

Selection7
Overall25/30
  • Very high quality offline screens
  • Smaller selection of offline screens
  • Resources besides just offline screens like emotes, sub badges, etc.

Nerd or Die is a well-known stream designer that makes everything from overlays, to emotes, and of course, offline screens.

Their quality is just as good as anyone else on this list and their prices are good too ranging from $2 to $30 for a complete stream package (offline screen, overlays, etc.).

However, similar to Kudos, Nerd or Die is also held back by their selection. They only have around 50 stream packages to choose from and you can’t buy an individual offline screen through them.

If you are looking for a really cool stream overlay package then they have a lot to offer. But if you just want an offline screen, or a bigger selection of stream packages, then consider others on this list.

9. StreamShark

CategoryScore
Quality10
Price7
Selection8
Overall25/30
  • No pre-made offline screens
  • They create offline screens that fit your brand
  • More resources than just offline screens such as emotes, panels, etc.

StreamShark is different from others on this list in that they don’t offer pre-made offline screens. What they offer are custom-made offline screens created by professional artists.

The way it works is you fill out a form detailing what you want, they send you a quote, and if the price is right for you then they begin working on your project.

You will end up paying a bit more going with a custom-made offline screen from StreamShark, but in doing so you are able to create the exact offline screen you want with something that fits your brand.

They offer things besides offline screens as well like overlays and emotes so you could really use them to design your entire stream.

If you are new to streaming, and don’t know what your brand is yet, I recommend going with a cheaper, easier option. But for those with a specific stream design in mind, StreamShark is great.

10. Twitch Overlay

  • Simple designs
  • Good free options

Twitch Overlay has been around for over 8 years at this point and continue to churn out quality overlays and graphics.

What I like about Twitch Overlay is that you can purchase stand-alone offline screens so you don’t have to buy an entire stream package just for a single offline screen.

Their offline screens range between $5 and $7 depending on the customizations you want. Their stream packages cost a bit more, between $16 and $40 depending on what you get.

Twitch overlays doesn’t have the highest quality offline screens, and most of their designs are pretty simple, but if you can’t find something you like elsewhere, consider giving them a try.

11. Canva

CategoryScore

Overall21/30
  • Most all templates are free
  • Only templates so will need further customization
  • Very basic designs

For those who are looking for something free, Canva is the way to go! Canva gives you a blank template, and you create the rest. You can customize it exactly as you want with anything you want on it.

Now this seems awesome, and it is, but what if you are not a great digital artist? And that there is the main issue with Canva. It’s great if you know what you’re doing, but difficult if you don’t.

If you are good at creating digital art then Canva or Photoshop are great. But if you are not, and want a more professional looking offline screen, then go with some of the other premium options I have mentioned on this list.

12. Etsy

Etsy Offline Screens
CategoryScore

Selection5
Overall20/30
  • Well priced offline screens
  • Most offline screens are pre-made

Finishing this list is Etsy. Now most people don’t think of Twitch offline screens when they think of Etsy, but they actually do have some Twitch offline screens.

And their prices are pretty good too. You can get just an offline screen for between $1 and $5 on average. They also have stream packages and the price for these ranges from about $20 to $100 depending on the quality and the artist.

All of their overlays are pre-made which is nice because this means you can download your offline screen and use it as soon as you purchase it.

All things considered though, Etsy’s selection is not as good or vast as others on this list. Their prices are pretty good, but if you are willing to pay just a little more you can get a better offline screen elsewhere.
