What Monitor Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses 4 monitors total for his streaming/gaming setup. He uses the Alienware AW2518H Monitor for gaming, two ASUS 27″ monitors for reading stream chat and Discord, and lastly he has a 24″ ASUS monitor placed above his gaming monitor that he uses for things like browsing the web.

This Alienware AW2518H 25″ gaming monitor is the perfect gaming monitor for PC and console gamers, alike.

The monitor has a terrific 240Hz refresh rate and sub 1ms response time, making it ideal for competitive FPS titles.

It even features NVIDIA G-Sync, so you’ll get the best possible results while gaming.

G-Sync allows your NVIDIA graphics card to control your monitor’s settings in real-time while gaming; fine-tuning the refresh rate of your monitor to match the frame rate of your graphics card’s output.

This helps reduce stuttering, lag, and tearing, and provides you with the best possible performance for your GPU and monitor.

His other two monitors are not anything fancy since they are only used for chat and browsing the web. The two 27″ monitors are set up vertically on each side and the 24″ monitor is set up normally.

He also uses two monitor arms to hold up his monitors. One single mount monitor stand like this one on Amazon, and another 3 armed monitor mount like this one on Amazon. You can see what it looks like below.

What Mouse Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses the ROCCAT Kone Pro Air Mouse. The ROCCAT Kone Pro Air gaming mouse is an incredible gaming mouse for its price point. The mouse is capable of 19,000 DPI and weighs just 66g.

The mouse is fully wireless and is capable of 100 hours of gaming from a full charge. It also has a quick charge feature which allows you to get 5 hours of gaming from a quick, 10-minute charge.

The build quality is very cool, with a honeycomb design on the clicks that tapers into solid black plastic for the mouse body. It also has fully-programmable RGB.

This mouse’s specs place it in competition with other great gaming mouses, like the Logitech G Pro X SUPERLIGHT.

Although ROCCAT isn’t hugely popular in the US, it is a well-known gaming brand and widely-appreciated in European countries like Germany and Poland.

What Mouse Pad Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses the SteelSeries QcK XXL Mouse Pad. The SteelSeries QcK XXL gaming mousepad is an oversized mousepad made for intense gamers. The mousepad is nearly 36″, or 3 feet, across, landing it squarely in the oversized category of mousepads.

The mousepad has a minimalist, all-black cloth design with the SteelSeries logo imprinted in white on one corner of the mousepad.

At around 36″ across and 16″ deep, this is the ideal mousepad if you prefer your mousepad to take up most of your desk.

With this mousepad, you can easily fit both your mouse and keyboard on the mousepad.

What Keyboard Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses the SteelSeries QcK XXL Keyboard. The SteelSeries QcK XXL Keyboard bills itself as the “Fastest Keyboard in the World”. The keyboard has patented OmniPoint switches, which boast a 0.7ms response time and an adjustable actuation point of 0.4mm.

The keyboard is made of aluminum alloy, which gives it a sturdy, high-quality feel. It comes with full RGB OLED lighting and a detachable, magnetic wrist rest.

One awesome feature about this keyboard is that each key switch can be individually adjusted to meet your needs.

You can change the actuation point of the keys, and some have described this as having “multiple keyboards in one”.

What Headset Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses the JBL Quantum One Headset. The JBL Quantum One headset is JBL’s priciest gaming headset. It has a premium design and features RGB lighting.

The headset has an all-plastic design, which helps it remain lightweight. It has memory foam padding on the headband and the ear cups, which help you stay comfy during long gaming sessions.

The included boom microphone is detachable, so you can use these for tasks other than gaming, like watching movies or listening to music.

If you don’t mind having a wired headset (USB-C and 3.5mm required), then these are a great option.

What Microphone Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses the Shure SM7B Microphone that he attaches to a Road PSA1 Boom Arm. The mic is then connected to a GO XLR Audio Mixer which helps give him more customization and control over his audio.

The Shure SM7B Microphone is a versatile microphone perfect for streaming, podcasting, or even recording music.

The microphone uses an XLR connection, which allows you to get the best quality possible while recording or streaming.

The microphone is a classic cardioid pattern microphone with uniform capture, so you’ll sound great at all angles.

Although this microphone is on the pricey side, costing hundreds of dollars, it is a very popular choice for professional streamers and broadcasters.

I recently upgraded to this microphone for my setup and the quality is amazing!

The Road PSA1, which is the boom arm he uses, is also considered the best when it comes to streaming, gaming, and content creation.

It moves around smoothly and is what most big name streamers use for their mics.

Lastly, the GO XLR is another common piece of equipment for streamers. This device allows streamers to easily adjust their audio and re-route where their sound is coming from.

It is pricey, but in my opinion well worth it because it makes sound management and customization so much easier.

What Camera Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses the Sony Alpha A6500 Camera with a Sony Sigma 30mm F1.4 Contemporary Lens. He then pairs his camera with the Elgato Cam Link 4K and a dummy camera battery. The camera captures high quality video, the Cam Link transmits that video to the PC and the dummy battery powers the camera.

The Sony Alpha a6500 camera is a part of Sony’s A6000 series of crop-sensor, mirrorless cameras.

With the right lens, I’ve found that this camera produces extremely clear and detailed video, even in low lighting. I use a 35mm E-Mount lens with a 1.8 f-stop, and I love the bokeh I can get with this setup.

What I really like about the Sony Alpha cameras is that they are compatible with Sony E-Mount lenses, which are easy to find for sale (both new and used).

They’re also super compact compared to clunkier options like a DSLR.

To use this camera in a stream, you’ll need to connect it to a capture card, in this case the Cam Link, via the micro HDMI port on the camera.

The battery life on this camera isn’t great, though, so I recommend you purchase a plug-in battery to use while streaming just like SypherPK did.

The A6500 is the same camera I use for my streams, and the quality for this price point is off the charts. It is a major upgrade from a webcam.

What Capture Card Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses the AVerMedia Live Gamer 4K – 4Kp60 HDR Capture Card. This capture card is one of the best in the streaming industry and works well for streamers who use a dual PC setup like SypherPK uses.

This capture card is a monster as it is capable of capturing up to 240 frames per second (fps) and can record in 4k too. Not to mention the customizable RGB lights that come along with it.

This is one of the best capture cards for anyone who streams or records gameplay on consoles or for anyone who utilizes a dual PC setup while they stream and record.

What PC Case Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses the Metallic Gear NEO Qube ATX Mid-Tower PC Case. The Metallic Gear NEO Qube ATX Mid-Tower computer case is a sleek mid-tower case with a minimalist design. It has two tempered glass panels, one in the front and one on the side.

The case has a strip of RGB lighting on the front, as well as an array of front-facing interfaces, such as USB 3.0, 3.5mm, and USB-C.

The case does not come with any fans, though, so you’ll have to plan out the ventilation on your own.

What Mother Board Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses the MSI MEG X570 GODLIKE Motherboard. This MSI MEG X570 GODLIKE gaming motherboard is one of the most expensive motherboards on the market. It has everything you need in a motherboard, and is packed with some very nifty tech.

The motherboard supports 2nd and 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen CPUs and future AMD Ryzen CPUs via BIOS updates.

My favorite thing about this motherboard is the sleek design, which features RGB lighting.

In addition to its ultra modern design, it also has 3 32GB/s M.2 connectors, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, and integrated 2.5G & 1G LAN with an included 10G LAN card.

What CPU Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X CPU. The AMD Ryzen 9 5950X CPU is a very popular CPU for gamers and streamers. It has 16 physical cores and 32 threads which provide top-tier performance for its price point.

Clocking in at a base frequency of 3.4GHz, this processor can easily handle CPU-intensive tasks such as gaming, streaming, and content rendering.

The Intel competitor to this processor is the Core i9-10980XE. In comparison, the Ryzen 9 5950X has similar performance, but is far more affordable. This makes it a great value option.

What GPU Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses the ASUS ROG Strix RTX 3090 GPU. The ASUS ROG Strix RTX 3090 Graphics Card is ASUS’ graphics card built on the RTX 3090 GPU. Currently, the RTX 3090 is the most powerful GPU in the world.

This graphics card features all the bells and whistles, such as real-time raytracing, 8K capabilities, over 100,000 shaders, and 24GB of GDDR6X 3840-bit VRAM.

With this GPU, you’ll be able to play all AAA titles at max settings. This graphics card is also great if you use your PC for creative tasks that require 3D rendering, such as animation.

For most rigs, the RTX 3090 might be overkill. While it’s more than twice as expensive as the RTX 3080, it isn’t nearly twice as fast.

What RAM Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses the G.Skill Trident Z Royal Series 32GB RAM. This G.Skill Trident Z Royal Series 32GB RAM comes in a 4-pack of 8GB RAM sticks. It’s DDR4 RAM rated for speeds up to 3600MHz and has all the features you would expect from gaming RAM, such as RGB lighting.

The first thing you’ll noticed about this RAM is its unique design. The RGB lighting on the RAM sticks is encrusted in translucent polymer crystals that look like glowing diamonds when your rig is on.

Most people get this RAM for its looks, but it also performs well and is a good option if you’re interested in overclocking your RAM.

What Cooling Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses the Lian Li Galahad AIO360 RGB Cooling. The Lian Li Galahad AIO360 RGB cooling system is the perfect cooler for rigs with a white theme. It features three fans and full RGB capabilities, so you can customize it to match your setup perfectly.

Lian Li is known for quality. They only make their products in small batches, so you are paying for a premium product.

This cooler is particularly known for being very quiet, which is always nice for streamers who need to have clear audio with low background noise.

What Power Supply Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses the Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 1000W power supply. Given his choice of graphics card, the RTX 3090, it’s not surprising he uses a 1000W power supply, as the RTX 3090 requires a lot of juice to run properly.

This PSU is fully modular, which means it has an array of ports you can plug cables into, but none of the cables are hard-wired into the PSU box. This is nice because you only need to attach cables you plan on using, which reduces clutter.

What Hard Drive Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses a Sabrent Rocket Q 2TB SSD. This drive reaches read/write speeds of 3200/3000MB/s, making it one of the speediest options on the market.

What I love about this SSD is that it attaches to your motherboard via an M.2 slot. M.2 drives are the latest and greatest in hard drives, and they allow you to get tons of speed and storage out of a drive that’s literally the size of a stick of gum.

What Chair Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses the Herman Miller X G Embody Chair. This Herman Miller X G Embody Chair is as luxurious as gaming/office chairs come. In fact, this chair is so premium that, at around $1,900, it probably costs more than your entire gaming PC setup.

So, is it worth it? If you’re a professional streamer, then the answer may be yes. The chair is customizable in nearly every way, allowing you to adjust the seat depth, arms, chair height, backrest, and more.

If you can’t find a comfortable chair for gaming, then you may want to give this chair a try. You can customize it to fit your back perfectly, and potentially save yourself from back pain.

What Desk Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses the FEZIBO Electric Standing Desk. This desk is very simple, but also very sturdy and spacious. It is a good option for streaming.

What Lights Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses two Elgato Key Lights, one on each side of his camera. The Elgato Key Lights are a popular choice amongst streamers not only because of their quality, but also because of how easily they pair with an Elgato Stream Deck.

Elgato creates some of the best equipment in the entire streaming industry. I use several of their products for my stream and I can attest, they are fantastic.

And given that most of their products can pair with the Stream Deck it makes controlling the equipment much easier.

If you are a streamer then you should definitely check out their lighting options as well as their Stream Deck.

What Software Does SypherPK Use To Stream?

SypherPK streams using the OBS software. He then uses the StreamElements bot to help him moderate his chat.

Other Gear Used By SypherPk?

What PC Does SypherPK Use?

SypherPK uses a custom built PC which includes a Metallic Gear NEO Qube ATX Mid-Tower PC Case, MSI MEG X570 GODLIKE MotherboardAMD Ryzen 9 5950X CPUASUS ROG Strix RTX 3090 GPUG.Skill Trident Z Royal Series 32GB RAMLian Li Galahad AIO360 RGB Cooling, and Sabrent Rocket Q 2TB SSD.

He also uses a Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 1000W 80+ Gold Power Supply. You can see more details about his PC above.

How Much Does SypherPK’s PC & Setup Cost?

SypherPK’s PC alone is worth an estimated $4,000. His entire streaming/gaming setup, combined with his PC, is estimated to cost over $11,000.

Much of Sypher’s gear is considered top of the line and this is why the cost is as high as it is.

What Org Is SypherPK A Part Of?

SypherPK is not a member of any gaming org at this time. He was a member of Luminosity Gaming for several years, but left the organization once his contract ended. It is unknown whether or not he will be signing with another organization in the future.

What Platform Does SypherPK Stream On?

SypherPK streams exclusively on Twitch. Although he creates content on other platforms such as Youtube, he signed an exclusivity deal on November 10th, 2020 to only stream on Twitch.

This list consists of SypherPK’s current streaming/gaming setup. If I got something wrong, or if something has changed then reach out to me on my Twitter or on my Discord to let me know so that way I can update it.
