What Monitor Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses the SAMSUNG Odyssey G7 Gaming Monitor. This SAMSUNG Odyssey G7 gaming monitor is a high end gaming monitor that works very well for PC and console gaming. The monitor is 27″, which seems to be the sweet spot for gaming, since larger screens are harder to track with your eyes.
The monitor boasts an excellent refresh rate of 240Hz, which makes it ideal for performance gaming uses, such as FPS games. It has under 1ms response time, and is G-Sync compatible, which reduces stutter and lag.
The monitor has a sleek, all-black design with a glowing LED design in the back of the monitor. One cool thing about this monitor is that you can change the color of the LEDs, allowing you to customize the lighting for your setup.
What Controller Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses a PS5 Scuf Reflex Controller and attaches a KontrolFreek CQC Rush to the right stick to help with aiming. He plays using digital triggers and has two buttons on the back of his controller. However, unlike many Call Of Duty pros, TeePee does not play claw.
Scuf controllers are considered some of the best controllers available today. In fact, many pros and major streamers prefer scuf controllers over other controllers.
The digital triggers make it easier and faster to fire your weapon whereas the buttons on the back of the controller make it so that players can more easily do things like jump or crouch in the game.
Lastly, the KontrolFreek controller add-ons make your sticks taller making them easier to move. This is supposed to provide better precision and accuracy for players.
What Mouse Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses the Razer Viper Mini Gaming Mouse. This Razer Viper Mini Gaming Mouse is a budget wired mouse with excellent performance and quality for the price point. The mouse has 6 programmable buttons, and the sensitivity can be adjusted up to 8500 DPI.
It also features a classic Razer design, with Chroma RGB lighting and an LED Razer logo. This mouse is wired, so you won’t have to worry about charging it or changing batteries.
The cable is a drag-free, corded cable, which feels very high quality and doesn’t tangle easily.
With all that being said, TeePee typically plays on controller, but when he does switch to mouse and keyboard this is the mouse he uses.
What Mouse Pad Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses the SteelSeries QcK Heavy Mouse Pad. This SteelSeries QcK Heavy Gaming Mousepad is a heavy-grain mousepad, optimized for gaming mouse sensors.
The micro woven cloth is intentionally made for low and high DPI tracking movements, making this a versatile mousepad for FPS games, as well as MMOs or just work use.
The mousepad has stitched edges and the SteelSeries logo neatly embossed in the lower left corner of the mousepad, making it the perfect complement to SteelSeries peripherals.
What Keyboard Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses the Razer BlackWidow Chroma Gaming Keyboard. The Razer BlackWidow Chroma is a well-known gaming keyboard with fantastic specs. The keyboard features Razer’s Green Switches, which are known for their pleasant and distinct clicking sound.
If you weren’t aware, Razer was the first company to use mechanical switches on a gaming keyboard when they released the BlackWidow in 2010.
The keyboard has n-key rollover, which means the pressing of each key is accurately registered, even if several keys are being pressed at the same time.
I like that this keyboard is a full-sized keyboard, because I tend to use my gaming keyboard for work. Sometimes it comes in handy to have a numpad, since it makes typing numbers much faster.
And like I already mentioned, TeePee usually plays on controller, but when he is not, this is the keyboard that he prefers to use.
What Headset Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses the Turtle Beach Elite Pro 2 Gaming Headset. The Turtle Beach Elite Pro 2 Gaming Headset is a performance gaming headset compatible with PC and most consoles. The headset has 50mm nanoclear speakers, which deliver great bass for an immersive gaming experience.
The headset comes with a noise-cancelling mic, fabric ear cushions, an aluminum headband, and a 3.5mm audio cable.
The headset also has ProSpecs, a special design feature designed to not place pressure on your glasses while your game.
If you wear glasses, this is a nice feature to have and will allow you to game more comfortably for longer stretches of time.
What Microphone Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses the Shure SM7B Microphone and attaches it to a Road PSA1 Boom Arm. The mic is then connected to a GO XLR Audio Mixer which gives him more customization and control over his audio.
The Shure SM7B Microphone is a versatile microphone perfect for streaming, podcasting, or even recording music.
The microphone uses an XLR connection, which allows you to get the best quality possible while recording or streaming.
The microphone is a classic cardioid pattern microphone with uniform capture, so you’ll sound great at all angles.
Although this microphone is on the pricey side, costing hundreds of dollars, it is a very popular choice for professional streamers and broadcasters.
I recently switched to this mic myself and the sound quality is amazing. If you want to make a major upgrade to your streaming microphone, this is the one to go with.
The Road PSA1 boom arm is also a very popular choice amongst content creators. It is considered the best boom arm out there because of how easy it is to move around and adjust.
Having used several boom arms myself I can say with confidence that it is indeed the best boom arm available today.
Lastly, the GO XLR audio mixer allows TeePee to have better control over his different audio channels. With this device he can control his game audio, Discord audio, and more all with a few switches.
With the GO XLR you can even create and use custom sound effects if that is something you wanted to do.
What Camera Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses the Sony Alpha a6400 Camera when he streams. He also connects his camera to the Elgato Cam Link 4K and a dummy camera battery so that he can use it when he streams.
This Sony Alpha a6400 camera is a part of Sony’s A6000 series of crop-sensor, mirrorless cameras.
This camera strikes the perfect balance between price and video quality, and is a great solution for streamers.
With the right lens, I’ve found that the APS-C sensor in this camera produces extremely clear and detailed results, even in low lighting.
I use a 35mm E-Mount lens with a 1.8 f-stop on my a6500, and I love the bokeh I can get with this setup.
What I really like about the Sony Alpha cameras is that they are compatible with Sony E-Mount lenses, which are easy to find for sale (I found tons of used E-Mount lenses for sale on OfferUp).
They’re also super compact compared to clunkier options like a DSLR and fit easily on your desk or atop a tripod.
To use this camera in a stream, you’ll need to connect it to a capture card via the micro HDMI port on the camera.
As a side note, the battery life on this camera isn’t great; I recommend you purchase a plug-in battery to use while streaming or else you’ll be forced to pause your stream every 20-30 minutes while you change batteries.
What Capture Card Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses the Elgato HD 60 Pro 1080 Capture Card. The Elgato HD 60 Pro 1080 Capture Card is one of the most popular capture cards for streamers. The capture card mounts on your motherboard via PCIe, and allows you to capture the output of your console or PC and broadcast it on your stream.
It has super low latency and features an onboard H.264 encoder, taking strain off of your GPU/CPU to encode your gameplay.
What PC Case Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses the Lian-Li O11 Dynamic EVO ATX Mid Tower PC Case. The Lian-Li O11 Dynamic Evo ATX Mid Tower is a premium, large-format computer case with tempered glass paneling and RGB lighting.
This is a great case for enthusiasts, because it doesn’t have any included fans. With this case, you’ll have total control over how you manage airflow in your build and which fans you include.
Although this case is on the expensive side, its known for its superior build quality. If you’re looking to build the gaming PC of your dreams, this case will get you there.
What Motherboard Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses the MSI B550-A PRO Motherboard. This MSI B550-A PRO Gaming Motherboard supports 3rd gen AMD Ryzen processors, but can accommodate more recent Ryzen processors via BIOS updates.
The motherboard takes DDR4 RAM, and can fit up to 128GB of RAM capable of speeds up to 4400MHz.
It’s also M.2 compatible, so you can mount the latest M.2 components on the motherboard, including M.2 NVMe drives, which are wicked-fast.
Although the motherboard does not come with onboard WiFi, you can easily mount a WiFi card to the motherboard on one of its PCIe slots.
What CPU Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X CPU. The AMD Ryzen 9 5950X CPU is a very popular CPU for gamers and streamers. It has 16 physical cores and 32 threads which provide top-tier performance for its pricepoint.
Clocking in at a base frequency of 3.4GHz, this processor can easily handle CPU-intensive tasks such as gaming, streaming, and content rendering.
The Intel competitor to this processor is the Core i9-10980XE. In comparison, the Ryzen 9 5950X has similar performance, but is far more affordable making this a great value option.
What GPU Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses the AMD Radeon RTX 6900 Series GPU. The AMD Radeon RTX 6900 XT is a super powerful graphics card, and despite launching in 2020, is still one of the most powerful AMD GPUs on the market.
AMD Radeon graphics cards can have great performance, but they tend to be less popular among streamers.
The main reason for this is that Radeon GPUs tend to lag in terms of their onboard encoders.
NVIDIA GPUs, on the other hand, have very capable NVENC encoders, which allow you to encode your streams on your GPU, thus alleviating the strain on your CPU that comes with software encoding.
That being said, if your main concern is running games, you won’t have any problems with this graphics card.
It can run some of the most popular titles on very impressive settings, and is similar to the GeForce RTX 3080 in terms of performance.
What RAM Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses the Patriot Viper Steel DDR4 RAM. This Patriot Viper Steel DDR4 32GB RAM set is a nice choice of RAM for gaming rigs. The RAM has a base speed of 3000MHz, and 32GB is more than enough RAM to run several applications at once.
The only let down with this RAM is that it does not have RGB lighting, which is kind of a standard for this price point. But, if that doesn’t matter to you, then this is fast and good looking RAM.
What Cooling Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses the NZXT Kraken X72 Liquid Cooling combined with several Lian Li UNI Fans. The NZXT Kraken X72 Liquid Cooler is a highly-rated CPU cooler designed specifically for gaming rigs. Its RGB lighting is fully customizable, allowing you to customize it for your setup.
My favorite thing about this cooler is it allows you to use a GIF to replace the NZXT logo on the cooling cap.
If you have a rig with a glass panel, this allows for really cool effects, as you can see the GIF video/image looping on the cooling cap as you peer into the side of your PC.
The LCD screen/cooling cap has a 2.36″ diameter and is capable of displaying gifs or images in 24-bit color.
Here’s an example of the NZXT Kraken Gif customization in action:
For his case fans, TeePee is using these LianLi Uni 120mm fans. The fans connect together in a daisy-chain pattern, which helps with cable management inside of your build.
LianLi fans have become very popular recently, and that’s due mainly to their bold looks, ARGB capabilities, and high design quality.
I recently built a rig with LianLi fans quite similar to these, and they were easy to build with and looked great in the finished build.
What Power Supply Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses this Corsair RMX Series 1000W Power Supply. 1000W is a LOT of power, and so you probably won’t ever need this much in your rig.
But, since he is using quite a powerful GPU and CPU, it makes sense that TeePee is using a PSU with this wattage. after all, it’s better to have too much power than not enough.
Corsair is a highly respected manufacturer when it comes to PSUs, and I love that this PSU is modular. Modular PSUs cut down on clutter in your case, so they’re great to build with.
What SSD Does Teepee Use?
TeePee uses this NVMe 2TB Internal Gaming SSD from Western Digital.
This SSD will do everything you need it to for streaming. As I’ve talked about in other posts, NVMe SSDs are very fast and great for load times.
If you’re streaming, your viewers will not want to sit around and wait for your game to load everytime. This is especially true if you play eSport games where you’ll be loading in and out of games often.
This SSD will make sure you’re always loaded in fast and give you the opportunity to ask who’s playing on a toaster every single game.
What Chair Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses the MAVIX M9 Gaming Chair. This MAVIX M9 Gaming Chair is a sleek, good-looking gaming chair with everything you need in a chair. The chair has lumbar support, mesh panels for improved breathability, smooth gliding coasters, and premium cool gel memory foam cushioning.
This gaming chair is a high end gaming chair with excellent quality. If you plan on being seated for long periods of time streaming or gaming, this chair is a great option.
What Desk Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses the Ikea Bekant Sit/Stand Desk. The Bekant is a very spacious desk that can easily fit things like a gaming monitor, a PC, and other gaming/streaming equipment. The desk is also height adjustable and can be used sitting or standing.
This is the desk that I use with my setup and it’s great. It has tons of space and looks clean. But I think my favorite thing about this desk is how easy it is to adjust it up and down for sitting and standing.
But if you do choose to use this desk standing up, you will want to get a cushioned floor mat like the one that TeePee uses. I also use one of these and it helps a ton!
What Lights Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses 2 corner RGB floor lamps, one on the right of him and one on the left of him when he streams. The lights are easily customizable and come with a remote control making them easy to adjust.
RGB lights go great with any streaming setup. They give your viewers’ eyes somewhere to rest when they are not watching you on stream.
I like these lights in particular not only because they look cool, but also because their angled based makes them easy to tuck into any corner in your room which is just what TeePee does.
What Operating System (OS) Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses the Windows 10 operating system (OS).
What Software Does TeePee Use To Stream?
TeePee streams using OBS and then uses the StreamElements bot to help moderate his chat.
Other Gear Used By TeePee?
What PC Does TeePee Use?
TeePee uses a custom built PC which includes a Lian-Li O11 Dynamic EVO ATX Mid Tower PC Case, MSI B550-A PRO Motherboard, AMD Ryzen 9 5950X CPU, AMD Radeon RTX 6900 GPU, Patriot Viper Steel DDR4 RAM, NZXT Kraken X72 Liquid Cooling, Corsair RMX 1000W Power Supply, and 2TB Internal Gaming SSD.
How Much Is TeePee’s PC & Setup Worth?
TeePee’s PC is worth an estimated $5,000. Teepee’s entire setup, including his PC, is worth an estimated $10,300.
$10,000 seems like a lot of money, and it is, but most major streamers like TeePee have streaming setups that cost around $10,000 or more.
What Org Is TeePee A Part Of?
TeePee is a member of OpTic gaming. He originally started out in the org as a Call Of Duty pro but has since retired from professional gaming and now is a member of the org solely as a content creator.
