Does Elon Musk Have A Discord?

Elon Musk is one of the wealthiest individuals in the world. He helped create PayPal, made countless investments in companies like SpaceX and Tesla, and has recently pushed for a future with electric vehicles. But does he have a Discord?

Does Elon Musk Have A Discord?

Elon Musk does not have a Discord server, but it is rumored that he has his own personal account. Elon has tweeted several references to Discord, including a reference to the Wall Street Bets Discord, but he has never admitted to using Discord.

Here is one such Tweet where he referenced Discord.

The confusion about his involvement with Discord may stem from the fact that several high-profile cryptocurrency users are involved with the platform, including Vitalik Buterin, and so people assume Elon uses Discord as well.

In this article, we’ll look at some of Musk’s various references to Discord as well as what social media platforms he is active on.

Is Elon Musk In The Wall Street Bets Discord?

Although it is rumored that Elon Musk is a part of the Wall Street Bets Discord server, he nor anyone else has ever confirmed these rumors. At the very least he is aware of the server and has referenced it in a few of his social media posts.

The Wall Street Bets Discord allows users to participate in a “statistical arbitrage” or a “statarb.” A statarb enables participants to create a model that’ll help them find trends while avoiding long-term funding pitfalls.

Elon Musk’s official Twitter account features several references discord, perhaps most notably with regard to his involvement with the Wall Street Bet channel.

It has long been speculated that Elon Musk may join Discord in some fashion, but so far, he hasn’t made any announcements about joining the platform.

People who want answers about whether or not Elon Musk is involved with Discord will likely need to wait for more information from him directly before jumping to conclusions.

Most notably was a tweet from Elon Musk stating ‘Even Discord Has Gone Corpo’ After WallStreetBets Server Ban.

Elon Musk has addressed the stock market volatility generated by the Reddit community r/WallStreetBets, calling Discord “Corpo” after it banned the group’s server.

While funding Tesla and other ambitious projects, Musk has often spoken about the need for statistical models for finance.

He’s also mentioned his interest in cryptocurrencies, in particular Dodge coin, which has seen tremendous growth over the last few years.

What Apps Does Elon Musk Use To Communicate With People?

Elon Musk uses Twitter and Facebook to communicate with people. He’s relatively open when it comes to his use of these messaging tools. He’s personally active on both apps, posting regular updates revealing details about his projects at Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA) and SpaceX.

Elon Musk is most often seen with his phone out during public appearances or known for tweeting about new products.

He has relatively little encrypted privacy apps, so he’s far more open to being tracked through platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

Critics have noted that this level of transparency makes him vulnerable to tracking by competitors, but he’s provided little evidence that these claims are accurate.

Elon Musk encouraged people to use the encrypted messaging app Signal in a tweet that was subsequently retweeted by Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey. Shortly after, Signal announced that it was working to handle the influx of new members.

Signal is an open-source messaging app that features a wide range of encryption options. The platform can be used by anyone to send messages or encrypted files.

Although, Elon Musk has recommended the use of Signal in the past, it’s unclear if he uses the app himself. Elon Musk has never publicly revealed a strong interest in Discord or any other encrypted messaging apps.

The Wall Street Bets server ban was apparently spurred by Musk’s discussion of trading strategies on the platform, but this is unlikely to give additional insight into whether or not he would sign up for an account.

What Has Elon Musk Said About Discord?

Elon Musk has mostly praised Discord, calling it an essential tool for communication; however, he has been critical of Discord in recent years saying that they have “gone corpo.”

You can see more of Elonn’s Tweets about Discord on his Twitter here.

Discord is one of the most valuable companies in Silicon Valley today and became even more popular during the Covi-19 pandemic.

While much of its success is owed to its versatility, it’s also supported by a loyal base of users who can’t live without the app and use it for everything from video games and art projects to social activities like reading groups and book clubs.

Elon Musk’s connection to Discord comes primarily through his involvement with Wall Street Bet (WSBS). WSBS hosts activities such as trading competitions where users make predictions about stock market activity.

The channel shared a server with Discord until recently when management banned WSBS due to “extreme manipulation” of trading information.

This ban resulted in criticism from users who speculated that Elon Musk knew about the server and encouraged its use, but it’s unclear how much involvement he actually had.

Elon Musk has never provided information about his personal opinions on Discord.

At best, he can be counted among those praising its versatility in general terms thanks to his endorsement of various content creators who broadcast over this platform.

While there were some rumors that he was personally involved with WSBS, it’s difficult to conclude his involvement in the channel beyond this.

While it’s clear that Elon Musk supports Discord in general terms, there are no indications that he uses the app himself.

Based on a pattern of Twitter use by Mr. Musk, there is a good chance that he doesn’t have an official server available to join or one which can be used for direct communications.

Although many journalists and viewers note the potential availability of an anonymous account for this purpose, it does little to prove whether or not such an account actually exists.

However, he’s tweeted several references about it, including Wall Street Bets (WSBB), which was designed as a way for him and others like him to disrupt finance by using statistical models.

As of now I think it is safe to say that Musk is aware of Discord, but whether or not he uses the platform is a total mystery.
